Pilates Mat Teacher Training

Pilates Mat Teacher Training is offered through the Aurora location

Understand the fundamental concepts and learning principles of the Pilates Method

Develop a practical understanding of the anatomical and biomechanical principles of Pilates matwork

Gain the ability to teach the matwork repertoire at all levels: modified basic, beginner, intermediate and advanced

Learn how to transition between these levels in a safe and functional way

Learn how to detect improper form

Learn cueing techniques

Learn hands on adjustment techniques

Complete a written and practical exam

Course manual and certificate of completion are supplied

Duration: 20 hours over two consecutive weekends (5 hours each day)
